Avant que les sports d&rsquo;hiver prennent le pas en 1925, il \u00e9tait de bon ton de s&rsquo;offrir ici les bienfaits d&rsquo;une \u00ab\u00a0cure d&rsquo;air et de lait\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p><p>Sa situation privil\u00e9gi\u00e9e, son acc\u00e8s facile et la puret\u00e9 de son atmosph\u00e8re reconnue depuis le d\u00e9but du si\u00e8cle, ont engendr\u00e9 une \u00e9conomie nouvelle, dynamis\u00e9e par les Jeux Olympiques de 1968.<br \/>Ainsi se sont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s le tourisme climatique, estival et les sports d&rsquo;hiver.<\/p><p>Avec la cr\u00e9ation d&rsquo;une station int\u00e9gr\u00e9e au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 70, d\u00e9nomm\u00e9e \u00ab\u00a0Le Balcon de Villard-Cote 2000\u00a0\u00bb, Villard de Lans s&rsquo;est dot\u00e9 d&rsquo;un outil indispensable pour permettre un acc\u00e8s direct sur les pistes de ski alpin.
